New event raises $21K for Gladden Sports!

Updated: Apr 21, 2022

Thanks to generous partners, eager sponsors, and the folks at Topgolf, Gladden raised $21,500 last week for our team sports program.

Presented by NiSource and Scotts Miracle-Gro, the first annual Chip-In Challenge was a friendly competition for a cause on a lovely spring day, April 14. Orange Barrel Media graciously donated the top team prize of two free weeks of advertising at Broad and High. After taking home the title, they presented it to the second-place team (NCT Ventures), as well as earning individual passes to the Memorial Tournament!

New City Homes, NAI Ohio Equities, and Scotts Miracle-Go rounded out the Top 5.

There were no winners from our Hole-In-One competition, sponsored by Kaufman Development. Still, Sarah Cygan of the Ologie team won our Hole-In-One raffle, including a $500 gift card from Easton Community Foundation. CoverMyMeds received Memorial practice passes and Clippers tickets as the team with the Best Spirit.

We appreciate our other sponsors and teams for making our first event a massive success! Thanks to: Huntington, Improving, Geben Communication, Taft, VORYS, and Fifth Third Bank.
