Our Preschool Philosophy
Our philosophy is increasingly comprehensive and responsive to new research and requirements, embraces cultural competence, and is respectful of the daily demands of preschool families as well as Early Childhood professionals. This approach will encourage teachers to build a classroom community that empowers families with holistic strategies designed to achieve excellence in school readiness and the development of good character. Learning domains based on the Ohio Early Learning and Development Standards are at the foundation of our curriculum.
Character Development and Enrichment Programs including music and movement, urban gardening and technology, are purposefully interlaced into the everyday quality learning experiences. This ensures children have a quality experience with excitement and creativity woven into the daily curriculum. Our enrichment programs include physical development, science, gardening, music and the arts with activities related to the learning domains and performance standards.
